Cordella is located in the hills of Montalcino in the Val d’Orcia. The estate is now run by Maddalena Cordella daughter of Orland Cordella. They have 7 hectares devoted to the production of Brunello and 1 hectare of Rosso di Montalcino. Everything is done by hand in her vineyards and with the utmost attention to detail. She works strictly organically and not with the use of any chemicals. Her wines have more depth and power then other Brunello due to the thick clay soil in which they grow.
